In most cases, connecting your Airmonitor Plus takes under 30 seconds. That said, some networks and phone settings can cause hiccups.
If pairing doesn’t complete after a couple of tries, run through the quick checks below, If we still can’t get you connected, we’ll replace it.
Quick checks (takes 1–2 minutes)
- Is the Wi-Fi icon flashing on the Airmonitor? When the device is in pairing mode, the Wi-Fi icon on the screen should flash. If you’re not sure what you’re seeing, follow the visuals in this article.
- Do you have the correct app installed? There are several apps with “Breathe” in the name. Make sure you’re using the right one for Airmonitor Plus. See article 'How do I download the Breathe Tech app?'
- Phone battery check We’ve seen some phones struggle to initiate Bluetooth pairing when the battery is low. If the app can’t find the Airmonitor, charge your phone for a few minutes and try again.
- Try multiple times - Some network setups (e.g., mesh/dual-band routers) need a couple of attempts for the first handshake. If it doesn’t connect the first time, try up to three times before moving on.
Still not connecting?
- Double-check items in the two linked articles above.
- Ensure your phone’s Bluetooth is on and you’re close to the Airmonitor during pairing.
- Give it three attempts—this resolves most first-time setup issues on varied home/office networks.
